A Storm Brewing Over Howgill

Just above the small hamlet of Howgill on the road between Appletreewick and Barden in the Yorkshire Dales, the landscape becomes wilder. Whilst the moors and fells climb higher above, distant views across Wharfedale open up below. This study in acrylic inks shows an approaching storm at the point where the road at its highest point.
