Twilight at the Edge of the Woods

Evening, September. The edge of the woods. That halfway space between the dark and the light, between the enclosure of the trees and the open fields. And here at twilight, that crimson tinted calm at the close of day. This painting shows the view down the footpath leading from Sharphaw, into the village of Flasby in the Yorkshire Dales.
